On the top qualities he looks for in a woman...

"For me, a lot of it is initial attraction so it's confidence first and foremost. I'm big on energy so I don't really have a 'type.' It's something about how a woman walks into the room where she knows she's the most lit person there because she's just that fulfilled in herself. To me, it's a sign that she's doing the work behind the scenes. There's some meditating, there's some working out, and internal work going on that she's putting within herself that makes her feel like that. I would also say, drive. I'm very tenacious so I love a woman that can match that vibe. And I like women who are interested and passionate about things that I'm not necessarily into, because it gives me exposure and I like to learn. This way we can support each other in our separate endeavors without them bleeding into each other."

On his ideal date...

"My ideal date would be somewhere that we can explore and get lost. Food that we've never tried before, which can be a hit or miss social experiment (laughs)! But for dessert, we'd go somewhere that's a surefire hit. But I also like to explore things so maybe like a helicopter ride overlooking the city. That would be fun."

On what he's learned from his last serious relationship...

"Just because you want somebody to grow and you're supportive in their growth, it doesn't mean that you get to dictate HOW they grow."

On his major deal breakers...

"Lack of confidence and drive. If we don't have that in common, our vibrations won't be on the same wavelength."

On the toughest part of dating nowadays...

"It would just be the rhythm in which I'm living my life personally. I'm just adjusting to the chaos of traveling back and forth and learning through all of that. So it's hard not to let that bleed into my romantic life because it's not the type of situation where I can build some stability or where I have the luxury of time to invest in someone I'm very attracted to. BUT, you have to remain open and understand when the opportunity approaches you. When you have a fine queen in front you, you can't play games with that."

On how he makes his special woman feel loved...

"I'm very chivalrous, I'm a gentleman. I know what side of the sidewalk to walk on, how to open the doors, and I'm a dad to a seven-year-old daughter. I'm used to providing that emotional support so I know how to care for and dote on my woman."

On the first thing he notices when a woman walks in the room...

"It's intangible, it would be her energy. I'm not necessarily looking per se but listening with my soul (laughs)! It's about being open to the energy she gives off."

On his relationship status…

"I'm very single. But the grind is BAE, so I guess it's complicated. But I am single!"

I Broke My Three-Year Celibacy Streak, And It Was So Worth It

Before I knew it, I was busting it wide open.

Okay, wait… maybe I should start from the beginning.

In 2007, I met the love of my life. I was convinced that he was my person and that I had no choice but to go through heaven and hell to make this love work. He was my safe place. He knew everything about me. He was it for me. At least, that's what I thought.
