Ciara needs to stop playing with us and share the prayers she uses to attract abundance because my heart, my pockets, and my womb is ready! The Wilsons are adding yet another business venture to their repertoire, but this fragrance release has a sexy touch to it. Created in partnership with manufacturer Hampton Beauty, they call the fragrance duo R&C that has a very distinct bottle that wrap around each other like a warm embrace symbolizing their love. The couple is saying to hell with entanglements, let's unify as one and give the people something to talk about and sniff. Russell explains in an interview with Yahoo News:

"We wanted our scents to be able to be very strong individually but also be stronger together."

This sentiment seems to echo the thoughts the power couple must have had when courting for marriage (one that has been going strong since July 2016). The Grammy Award-winning artist and Seattle Seahawks superstar used the time indoors together during quarantine to keep that fire burning slow and steady while adding a new addition to their family. This new venture actually brought them closer together, Ciara gushes:

"This was something, I can say, made us smile," she added. "It gave us something to laugh about."

Russell chimes in:

"We had several date nights all around fragrance."

The fragrance will be available exclusively at RandCFragrance. A portion of the sales from the product will be donated to yet another of the couple's joint ventures: The Why Not You Foundation. Ciara and Russell invested in the nonprofit organization to fight poverty all while advocating for children's health and education. The Wilsons do not seem to be slowing down the impact that they make on their communities anytime soon.

Here are 4 times Ciara and Russell Wilson leveled up together:

1. Ciara & Russell Launched the Why Not You Production Company.

According to Revolt TV in August of 2019, the couple decided to invest in their own production company that will focus on film, digital content, and television with the theme of inspiration and providing aspiring narratives. Russell explains:

"While we work in different fields in our day-to-day, we are excited to come together to collaborate and create stories that we hope will touch people's lives. We are both storytellers at heart and we want to be able to share stories that uplift people and inspire others to create positive change. That's ultimately what we want this company to represent."

2. Ciara & Russell Joined the Ownership Team of Major League Soccer’s Seattle Sounders FC.

According to the LA Times as of August 2019, the couple are co-owners of the Seattle based football team. Russell explains:

"We are fired up about the Seattle Sounders because it's our home. It's the place we get to raise our kids and the place we are forever connected to. We want to have the world's best soccer players play here in Seattle and win championships!"

3. Ciara & Russell Donated $1.75 Million for Creation of Washington Based Charter School.

According to Billboard Magazine, the school was a longtime dream of the couples and it was important for the learning to be both inside the classroom and based on real-time mentorship. Russell explains:

"We've always held the belief that life's successes start with a good education, but recognize that access isn't always created equally for all...The Why Not You Foundation was created with the concept of empowering youth to lead with a why not you attitude and that's why it was important for our foundation to partner with Scott, Garth, and Cascade Public Schools to help open doors for kids from less fortunate backgrounds."

4. Ciara & Russell Joined the MLB to Portland Effort.

According to Forbes back in June of 2017, the couple decided to join the group that works on bringing Major League Baseball to Portland. The couple is dedicated to seeing this venture grow. Russell explains:

"This isn't just a 'Hurray!' thing and see you later. We're dedicated to it and making sure the city's behind it; the kids are behind it. And once it happens, we'll be here in the community."

The scents will be available on November 17, 2020.

Generation To Generation: Courtney Adeleye On Black Hair, Healing, And Choice

This article is in partnership with Target.

For many Black women, getting a relaxer was a rite of passage, an inheritance passed down from the generation before us, and perhaps even before her. It marked the transition from Black girlhood to adolescence. Tight coils, twisted plaits, and the clickety-clack of barrettes were traded for chemical perms and the familiar sting of scalp burns.

A 5-Year Healing Journey Taught Me How To Choose Myself

They say you can’t heal in the same place that made you sick. And I couldn’t.

The year was 2019, and I knew I had to go. My spirit was calling me to be alone and to go alone. It was required in that season. A few months prior, I had quit my job. And it was late 2017 when I had met trauma.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:
