Meagan Good is known for her effortless beauty and laidback style, and her home is no different. The Harlem star showcased her lovely home on Beautiful Black Homes by Ebony Magazine and shared how it contributed to her healing process following her divorce from Devon Franklin.

"As I was going through the process of my divorce, the healing process, I ended up staying at an Airbnb," she said. "While I was there, I realized that being in the hills kind of reminded me of my childhood.

"And so I began the process of looking for a home, and crazy enough, my dad, all the way in Hawaii, sent me this house a few months prior. So I came and saw it, and the first day that I came and saw it, there was a deer outside in the front yard, and I was like, that's a good sign."

One of the first things that made her fall in love with the house was the massive front door and stone entryway and the indoor-outdoor living.

The owner's suite is cozy and minimalistic. "I love this bedroom because so many of the walls are just windows. As you can see, the view is just incredible from this room. It has a lot of great light," she said.

The owner's suite bathroom includes a steam shower, which only adds to the retreat vibe.

Meagan's living room is the ultimate cozy spot and the place where she entertains most of her guests. "The first thing I fell in love with was the fireplace because the entire wall was a fireplace," she said. "The second thing that I kind of love that there was no real place to put a TV initially, so we put her there (pointing to the ceiling)."

The backyard has a saltwater pool that is heated and a fire pit overlooking the hills.

Meagan said she felt "empowered" after finally buying her own home. "I would call my home the ultimate take-a-break living space because from the moment you walk in, you just kinda take your shoes off, and you literally take a break and you rest and you relax," she said.

A 5-Year Healing Journey Taught Me How To Choose Myself

They say you can’t heal in the same place that made you sick. And I couldn’t.

The year was 2019, and I knew I had to go. My spirit was calling me to be alone and to go alone. It was required in that season. A few months prior, I had quit my job. And it was late 2017 when I had met trauma.

Sergio Hudson On Designing With Intention And Who Gets Left Out Of The Industry

Sergio Hudson dreamt big as a young South Carolina boy staring out of the window of his mom’s Volvo driving down the Ridgeway, South Carolina streets. Those dreams led him to design opulent tailoring that’s been worn by Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, just to name a few.

Those dreams have come full circle in a new way as he recently collaborated with Volvo for a mini capsule collection suitable for chic and stylish moments this fall. The 40-year-old designer follows a long legacy of fashion aficionados who’ve used their innovation to push the automotive industry forward, including Virgil Abloh, Eddie Bauer, Paul Smith and Jeremy Scott.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:
