It’s a season of healing for actress Tia Mowry.

In a recent Instagram Reel, the Family Reunion actress shared highlights of their family vacation, describing it as a "moment of peace, healing, and growth." The 45-year-old mother of two embarked on a family trip to Thailand with her children, Cree, 12, and Cairo, 5. In the clip, Mowry shared how the travel experience taught her lessons of self-discovery and unpacked the notion of women being taught to be selfless.

"I feel like I have learned so much about who I am and who I want to be," she shared in her caption. "As women, we’re taught to be selfless, but I have been unpacking this concept and realize that we will never truly feel whole when we aim to be less of ourselves."

The Sister, Sister star continued her caption by expressing gratitude for her support system, community, and people for standing by them through challenging times, following her 2022 divorce from Cory Hardrict, to whom she was married for 14 years.

"Despite the challenges of the past few years, I am immensely grateful to my support system, my community, my people for steadfastly standing by me," Mowry said. "They’ve played a huge role in my journey. To all my community, thank you — I love you dearly!"

The Southeast Asian country of Thailand is known for its rich culture, vibrant landscape, and alluring beaches — and has grown to become a popular travel destination among tourists. Before concluding her video, Mowry gave an inside look into “why Thailand” was the perfect place for her personal retreat and family bonding vacation.

"You know that I have been through some of the most challenging times of my life,” she shared. “And I was looking for a place of healing, and Thailand has definitely been that for me. I cannot tell you how magical this place is."

Bringing her message to a close, Mowry extended wishes of love and gratitude to her community and loved ones for “answering my text at 2 o’clock in the morning,” and holds an optimistic outlook on what 2024 has in store.

"2024 is a year that I am looking forward to,” she said. “And I just want to send you guys peace, love and thanks for just, you know, being there for me. I couldn't have done it without you.”

Sergio Hudson On Designing With Intention And Who Gets Left Out Of The Industry

Sergio Hudson dreamt big as a young South Carolina boy staring out of the window of his mom’s Volvo driving down the Ridgeway, South Carolina streets. Those dreams led him to design opulent tailoring that’s been worn by Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, just to name a few.

Those dreams have come full circle in a new way as he recently collaborated with Volvo for a mini capsule collection suitable for chic and stylish moments this fall. The 40-year-old designer follows a long legacy of fashion aficionados who’ve used their innovation to push the automotive industry forward, including Virgil Abloh, Eddie Bauer, Paul Smith and Jeremy Scott.

Why A Solo Trip To Aruba Was The Nervous System Reset I Needed This Winter

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I host every year, from intimate dinner parties to holiday movie nights and even bigger holiday parties for my business. I’m also always the person who encourages others this time of year who are navigating grief, but this year I found myself holding more than I could carry.

2025 was a beautiful year, one marked by growth, travel, and wins I worked hard for, but it also carried profound grief. The day before Thanksgiving, my godfather, who helped raise me and had been a second father to me my entire life, passed away. On the day of his funeral, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital as he began treatment.

6 Signs It's Time To Leave 'It' Behind You In 2026

Y’all know what folks tend to do in the hours leading up to a new year — they make New Year’s Resolutions. And while I’m personally not the biggest fan of those (check out “Forget New Year's Resolutions, Try This Instead.”), what I do like to recommend is taking personal inventory to see what you need to hold on to and what you can stand to actually…let go of.

So, let’s get right into it.
