Over the past two weeks or so, our timelines have been blessed, and filled to the brim, with a plethora of the 'Buss It' challenges. If you're unfamiliar, the latest trend is a nod to how magical black women are (in case there was ever a moment that you second-guessed it). The premise of the challenge is simple: set to the tune of Erica Banks' "Buss It", you open the video by showing off what you look like when not dolled up, and when the beat drops or changes, then so do you--all transitioned to a new fly AF queen, showing off your best Megan Thee Stallion knee game.

I mean, no lie, this one is everything, like I absolutely cannot get tired of seeing the creativity, the beauty, and so much more. And the best part is just when we think it's over, another celeb drops (pun intended) their version, and before long, we're talking about it alllllll over again.

Like when Chloe Bailey broke the World Wide Web:

Chloe Bailey stepped on the scene with her version to retire them all.

Bailey, is one half of the singing duo, Chloe x Halle, has had a very successful career over the last couple of years. They started by taking minor roles in films and now they are Grammy-nominated singers, songwriters, and actresses. The two entered the industry as kids and since, have worked to shed their child-like image, emerging as flourishing women. The two have been attached to the hip their entire careers, even having joint social media accounts the entire time. That was until Chloe Bailey got her own account and shut shit down.

And Miss Jackson represented for her man:

She loved it so much that she created two versions, each equally making bae--who had to clear the sample for the song to even exist--proud.

Jackie Aina came through with her Beyonce Fan and all:

Can I just say, black women in yellow is supreme?

And Jordyn Woods had us question why we would even try:

www.tiktok.com

To which her boo replied, "God is good."

Traci Steele's looked a lot like my attempt:

Samesies.

And Tracee Ellis Ross too:

We loved seeing Gabrielle Union show off the natural her:

And Reginae with the body suit:

*dusts off knees*

In the end, no matter how long this challenge sticks around, knowing that we drive pop culture in this way, is something I will never get over. #bussit

December is about letting go. We end the year with the need for more peace, reflection, and rejuvenation, and that is exactly what December is providing for us. The Sun is in Sagittarius, and anything is possible. This is the month to believe in that and to know that the universe is supporting you. With a Supermoon in Gemini as we begin the month as well, we have an opportunity to gain the closure we have been looking for this year and to wrap up old projects, ideas, and communication breakthroughs.

This is the month to make your peace the priority and let go of trying to control the way the tides are turning. Trust in your new beginning, and give yourself time to prepare for it this month.

Hate Drinking Water? 10 Hacks That Can Help In That Department.

I wish I enjoyed drinking plain ole’ water. I don’t, though, and, at this point, I doubt that I ever will. It’s not something that I’m proud of or anything, but like I’ve said in other articles on this platform, to me, water is so damn boring; it’s literally like drinking “wet air.”

That doesn’t mean I don’t accept that it’s a “necessary evil” being that we all are made up of so much water and being dehydrated (which is something that a lot of us are) can cause so many health-related issues, including blurred vision, muscle cramps, dried skin, fatigue and even moodiness.
