With Mercury retrograde nearly over, and a new moon in Aries at the beginning of this week, energies that carried over from last week are being forced to switch up for your highest good. There is so much going on energetically, and nobody is safe.

Capricorn

This week for Capricorns in relationships, you might find that your relationship will benefit from you taking the time to explore who you are becoming as an individual, and how this is changing the things that you need from your partner. If you are with your soulmate, it is likely that they are mirroring the same energy. What you are struggling with is a reflection of what your partner is going through. Remembering this will help you understand the changes that are happening within yourself.

If you are single, it is likely this week that you are having an imaginary argument with the person yet to come into your life. This internal conflict is more about you and your subconscious frustration with not finding your match. If you find yourself drawn to memes like, "... meanwhile, I can't even get a text back!," or lowkey salty #teamsingle type posts, you might have to step back and realize that feeding into this energy, will only block you from manifesting your soulmate.

What you energetically digest is ultimately what you attract.

When it comes to Capricorns in the money and career department, try to remember that being too serious and forgetting to enjoy life as you work hard to secure the bag can add a lot of anxiety and unnecessary pressure on your spirit. Sometimes the best opportunities come out of fated meetings and taking risks. Capricorns likely push themselves to their limits, but doing so can essentially have the opposite effect.

For many Black women, getting a relaxer was a rite of passage, an inheritance passed down from the generation before us, and perhaps even before her. It marked the transition from Black girlhood to adolescence. Tight coils, twisted plaits, and the clickety-clack of barrettes were traded for chemical perms and the familiar sting of scalp burns.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:
