In the realm of cocktails, this festive refreshment sparkles like the lights around the Christmas tree. It's a drink that not only excites the taste buds but adds a touch of glamour to any holiday gathering — and we’re here to show you how to make it.

RECIPE:

  • 1 oz. simple syrup (rosemary)
  • 2 oz. gin
  • ½ cup of fresh cranberries
  • 2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • Ice
  • Club soda/sparkling water

HOW IT’S MADE:

Crafting the snow globe cocktail is an artful process, perfect for those who aspire to be the star host at their next holiday soirée.

Begin with a clear, freezer-safe glass and pour water into the cup. Once it’s filled about a third of the way, add a twig of rosemary in the water and place it upside down to resemble an evergreen tree in the winter forest. To ensure the rosemary stays centered, loop a string around the tip of the rosemary and fasten the string's ends to opposite sides of the glass with tape. Next, add cranberries to the glass for an extra touch of holiday charm.

Once assembled, place in the freezer until the water solidifies. To achieve the winter wonderland effect, pour seltzer water or sparkling water into the frozen middle piece and allow the bubble to surface. Adjust for sweetness and alcoholic preference, and enjoy!

This snow globe cocktail is a celebration of creativity, transforming a simple drink into an interactive work of art. It invites your guests to revel in the joy of the season and savor the magic that unfolds in each captivating sip.

For your next holiday gathering, let the snow globe cocktail be the star of the show.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:

Why A Solo Trip To Aruba Was The Nervous System Reset I Needed This Winter

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I host every year, from intimate dinner parties to holiday movie nights and even bigger holiday parties for my business. I’m also always the person who encourages others this time of year who are navigating grief, but this year I found myself holding more than I could carry.

2025 was a beautiful year, one marked by growth, travel, and wins I worked hard for, but it also carried profound grief. The day before Thanksgiving, my godfather, who helped raise me and had been a second father to me my entire life, passed away. On the day of his funeral, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital as he began treatment.
