September 2018 is jam-packed with planetary activity!

If you thought August was intense with eclipse and retrograde season, wait until you feel the energy that comes from the astrological free for all that's occurring in the sky. September will have us all feeling emotionally buzzed, inspired, creative, and passionate about people, places, and things in our lives.

This energy will have us craving connection, alignment, and using our intuition to self-actualize our potentials and analyze our current trajectory, focusing on how to move next. Many of us will be gracefully falling into all the changes we've made over the summer, and mentally preparing for a whimsical but chaotic fall season.

We have a chiron retrograde entering Pisces, and Pluto goes direct to set us off for October 2018.

Throughout the month the planets switching things up will affect each zodiac sign in multiple ways. Click through the gallery below to see what this means for you:

Aries

Saturn going direct will have Aries signs feeling like they have a whole new attitude, sense of boundaries, willpower, and focus. After a long summer of unpacking old wounds, ending cycles, and tightening their inner circles, Aries will feel an energy of rebirth. You no longer allow yourself to procrastinate as much, and you realize the importance of getting stuff done.

You truly have learned more self-discipline, and no longer will you fall into being passive aggressive in your life.

Mercury entering Virgo on the 5th will reinforce the fact that you are ready to come out of hiding, remission, or introspection about anything you have been dealing with internally. You have spent a lot of time healing certain things in your world, and likely this energy will have you ready to take the next step forward in your life. Many lessons will finally hit home. Mars entering Aquarius will bring in some anxious energy, as Mars can be quite volatile.

Remember that your peace of mind should be at the forefront of your actions, as you keep your eyes set on the prize.

September 20th through the 24th will be a concoction of energy caused by Jupiter sextile Pluto and Saturn quintile Neptune, followed by a full moon in Aries could put an obstacle in your way that you can easily circumvent, if you have learned lessons from the past. You'll be able to get through any confusion and find clarity by aligning your chakras and listening to your spirit.

Lastly, the chiron retrograde entering Pisces and Pluto going direct will teach you a lesson of curving your ego, following your intuition, and letting go of what no longer serves you.

Hmph. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like there is something really weird happening in the fall season air (because winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21) that cuddle season is in full swing while break-up season is as well. In fact, did you know that break-ups are so popular during the holiday season that December 11 is deemed Break-Up Day?

The reasons why relationships shift around this time vary; however, I did both roll my eyes and chuckle when I read that a very popular one is because it’s an easy way to get out of getting one’s significant other a Christmas present. SMDH.

This Time Of Year Is Ideal For A Holiday-Themed Staycation

Whew. Did you know that somewhere around 122 million Americans travel during the holiday season? Listen, I went to see my godbabies this past September and got caught up in a crazy ass traffic jam at BNA (the Nashville airport) that damn near has me considering air travel ever again — especially during this time of the year.

Besides, it’s not like it’s a written rule that you have to travel over the holidays. In fact, if you want to play it chill this year, why not enjoy a staycation instead? Although it might seem like it’s a “poor man’s compromise,” as you’re about to see, it actually…isn’t.
