EXCLUSIVE MUSIC PREMIERE: "Only You" By Angelica Ross

You may know her best as Candy, the vivacious fan favorite of the iconic series Pose, or as Nurse Rita on the series American Horror Story: 1984, but Angelica Ross is at least a quadruple threat! If you didn't know that the actress, activist and tech entrepreneur can also sing DOWN, allow us to reintroduce Ms. Ross with her latest single, the pop ballad, "Only You," just in time for summer. Watch the EXCLUSIVE premiere of Angelica's new single "Only You," below:

“Recording ‘Only You’ was such an emotional experience," Angelica shares with xoNecole of the song that has her bearing her soul. "It reawakened the songstress in my soul and affirmed for me that sometimes timing is everything.”

Director William Sikora III expands on this concept of time in the music video which features Angelica's world stopping when she locks eyes with someone in the club (model Casey Dandridge) and the two form a soul-awakening connection before they even have to speak. They move in her mind from the club into the desert of her broken heart. He's wandering with her through her pain and convinces her to love again and that he's the only one who can heal her heart and dry her tears. Oh, and it definitely doesn't hurt that the man is fine! Their chemistry is something Angelica knew would be easy to portray on screen.

“I wanted to give my fans a lot of eye candy with this video," she tells xoNecole. "So when we found him, I knew Casey and I would have no problem turning up the heat.”

"Only You" is the follow-up to Angelica's debut single, "Fierce," and she shared back in February 2021 that she's working on an album. "This is just the beginning."

Here's What To Watch On Tubi

Tubi has been gaining popularity due to its free sign-up and a vast selection of series and films. According to Deadline, the FAST (free ad-streaming television) service has seen a 14.7% growth from May and now has similar numbers to Disney+. So while many people have joked about Tubi having low-budget movies, the numbers don't lie.

In fact, I was one of those people who didn't get the appeal of Tubi, but the more I watched it, the more I enjoyed the content. They have some of our favorite TV series, such as Scandal and Star, as well as big films like the Fast and Furious franchise and cult classic Love & Basketball.
