What a time to be alive!

Today's fashion world is finally starting to embrace the curves of women of different shapes and sizes slowly but surely and it is long overdue. Usually, when you visit a local mall you will have a significantly more difficult time if you need a size beyond a large, but don't fret. There are now plentiful resources for you to secure the bag (of clothes) and slay.

Life is a lot more positive when your focus is to embrace who you are, instead of making your main focus to fit into more traditional sizes.

I'd like to introduce you to some millennial plus-size/curvy fashion bloggers who serve as an example of how to fearlessly live life and to embrace your size in an industry that is not largely inclusive of your curves and will help you to embrace masterpiece that you are.

Mia: The Plus Size Baddie

www.instagram.com

Mia's name speaks for itself: She is a baddie and she is the boss of her life!

Her fashion style is so elegant and luxe, that she demands your complete attention. Her page serves as a great point of reference of outfits to wear when you are in the mood to be a show-stopper. Fashion is not her only love, as her hair and makeup are always on 100. She also owns her own lash line to complete the look. When asked for her personal words of advice to aspiring plus-size/curvy fashionistas, the powerhouse said:

"I want every plus size woman to know she is beautiful regardless of this society's, especially the current hip hop culture's, standard of beauty. A slim waist, butt, and big breasts isn't what every woman looks like. I have no hips, a chubby waist, and arm fat. I don't apologize for loving myself, being sexy at a size 18/20, and being loudly confident about it."

Dontress: Her Vibe Is Pretty

www.instagram.com

Upon following this queen, you might catch yourself feeling warm and fuzzy inside because of her inspirational daily post to her followers, however, she did not come to IG to play!

Her outfits are full of color and her style caters to fashionistas that want to be trendy yet comfortable. She serves as a great example for women who try to hide their beautiful curves under all black in the summer time to stop the nonsense! Be bold! Be experimental! Be bright! Take up all the space because you are the star! She is always on the go with a cute outfit, her friends, and her most important accessory: her smile.

When asked for her personal words of advice to aspiring plus-size/curvy fashionistas, she said, "To thine own self be true."

Yasmine: The Fashionista

www.instagram.com

This fashion blogger caught the attention of many when she a posted a picture juxtaposing an older picture, where she was a size 12, next to one that showed her current size, 16, explaining she is now in love with every curve on her body.

Though her page serves as a great example of fashionable looks, she equally advocates for fitness. You can see her posting videos of her gym routine (and outfit) in the morning, and dressed down to the 9's that night. Her page is incredibly helpful because she tags her photos with the retailer she purchased from so that you can recreate her exact look .

When asked for her personal words of advice to aspiring plus-size/curvy fashionistas, the powerhouse said:

"Wear what you want and makes you feel great, people will stare anyways, make it count."
