Meg and Klay made their red carpet debut for the rapper's inaugural Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in N.Y.C. Named in memory of her late parents, Joseph Pete III and Holly Thomas, according to it's website, the foundation "provides resources to effect meaningful and positive change in the lives of women and children, senior citizens, and underserved communities in Houston, TX and across the globe."

During their red carpet appearance, the "Savage" artist shared a few details about their relationship. "Oh, we met and it was such a meet cute it was like a f------- movie," Megan told PEOPLE. "I won't tell you how and I won't tell you when, but it was a movie that he's the nicest person I've ever met in my life."

"Out of everything I’ve cooked for him so far he keeps asking for spaghetti and catfish 😂🍝," she captioned the video. The well-known southern meal sparked an online debate of whether the combination of foods go together.
