A wise hustler once said that money is a seed, and seeds are meant to be planted, not eaten, and now more than ever, I feel that.

Your coins should be protected and invested at all costs and this is especially true for someone who is chasing their dreams. While it's easy to eat the seeds you earn, Megan Thee Stallion says that you will always see the fruits of your labor when you invest in your own growth.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, the "Savage" rapper explained that whether she was working as a bill collector, a bartender or attending college as a full-time student, she was actively using her hustle to fund her dream.

"All my life I've been a person who's had my hands in a lot of things. I was a bill collector at one point. I was a bartender. When I started rapping and making money, I was like, 'I'm going to use this to do the things I really want to do: Finish school and start my business.'"

We've always been told not to put all of our eggs in one basket, which is why Meg says she has many eggs. And many baskets. She explained:

"I know I'm going to be an artist, and I'm going do something in the medical field. I don't want to look up and be 40, and be like, 'Damn, I wish I would've done that.'"

Since the release of her recent project, stars like Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Destiny, Normani, and Tamar Braxton have been seen dancing to her hit, "Savage", and in her interview with The NY Times, the hot girl revealed that the key to her viral success was consistency:

"I had to put it out on the Internet every day and hope that it caught on. At first I wasn't thinking about going viral. I wanted people to hear me rapping because that's what I like to do."

In the interview, Meg also explained her decision to trademark "Hot Girl Summer", and how she ultimately got copycat companies to cut a check:

"Getting something trademarked is a long process. But Hot Girl Summer is my thing, it's not like LeBron trying to get 'Taco Tuesday'. [I] saw other companies were using it, and I was like, 'Thank you for your support, but I have to secure this, because this is mine.'"

While she's spent the past few years focusing on her music career, Meg says that this year, she hopes to develop another part of her dream. The rapper, who lost her mother to a brain tumor last year, explained that until she graduates from college and is able to open an assisted-living facility, she plans to help others in another way:

"This year, I'm working to show people what being a hot girl really is like. Do you know what a candy striper is? Eventually, I want to open an assisted-living facility in Houston, but before that, I want to get girls together to go to different homes or hospitals. Those people don't have anybody, and I think it'd be really cute to have a Hot Girl come visit you and volunteer."

Beautiful passionate african american couple having a romantic candlelight dinner at home and celebrating their love together. Concept of love and relationship. Kissing and bonding. Copy space.

Hmph. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like there is something really weird happening in the fall season air (because winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21) that cuddle season is in full swing while break-up season is as well. In fact, did you know that break-ups are so popular during the holiday season that December 11 is deemed Break-Up Day?

The reasons why relationships shift around this time vary; however, I did both roll my eyes and chuckle when I read that a very popular one is because it’s an easy way to get out of getting one’s significant other a Christmas present. SMDH.

This Time Of Year Is Ideal For A Holiday-Themed Staycation

Whew. Did you know that somewhere around 122 million Americans travel during the holiday season? Listen, I went to see my godbabies this past September and got caught up in a crazy ass traffic jam at BNA (the Nashville airport) that damn near has me considering air travel ever again — especially during this time of the year.

Besides, it’s not like it’s a written rule that you have to travel over the holidays. In fact, if you want to play it chill this year, why not enjoy a staycation instead? Although it might seem like it’s a “poor man’s compromise,” as you’re about to see, it actually…isn’t.
