Have you been met with miscommunication, unexpected travel delays, issues with technology, unaccounted-for events - or a general feeling of being overwhelmed lately? Blame it on the retrograde. Mercury retrograde was back in full effect as of mid-November and wreaked the most havoc in the signs Pisces, Sagittarius, Gemini, and Virgo.

Luckily for us, the third and final Mercury retrograde of this year is on its way out as of December 6th, and with its exit, it makes room for the positive vibes from the lovely planet Jupiter to enter. Jupiter will be in its own sign of Sagittarius for the first time in 12 years and it will be influencing all of us in very good ways. Most of us will be ending the year with a bang and setting ourselves up for success in the year to come. Thus, the theme of the month is clarity.

Friendly Jupiter gives you the light to shine brightly in the second half of December. From December 6th and on, you will feel more solid with your decisions and commitments. All of the unfinished business with any real estate and family matters will be cleaned up and back on track.

Mercury, usually hovering around Sagittarius at this time of year, gets an extra push from Jupiter, giving your naturally happy attitude even more of a kick. Be careful of going overboard though! Jupiter through the 5th can also signal a time when you may gamble yourself and your possessions in a metaphorical roll of the dice. This has been a very emotionally draining time for the world for the past year or so. So with your Jupiter influences going through your chart, you may want to bust through too quickly without evaluating things more closely first.

This extra push goes for your health as well. You may be telling yourself that you will get back into that exercise regimen that you had let lapse previously. But remember to go slow and keep the momentum.

You may also find yourself attracting people who may need your help physically, whether it be helping them train for a marathon or helping an elderly family member with some daily needs.

With Venus in the 4th and in harmony with Mars, you may be feeling dynamically inclined to "romance" a new partner or current partner at home. With family relationships, you will have a desire to create a safe haven for family members in need.

If you are the "star" already at work, you will have attention drawn on you to organize holiday parties and team-oriented activities. If you are more low-key at your job, you may be drawn towards a side job that may become a full-time career towards the middle of 2019.

Sergio Hudson On Designing With Intention And Who Gets Left Out Of The Industry

Sergio Hudson dreamt big as a young South Carolina boy staring out of the window of his mom’s Volvo driving down the Ridgeway, South Carolina streets. Those dreams led him to design opulent tailoring that’s been worn by Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, just to name a few.

Those dreams have come full circle in a new way as he recently collaborated with Volvo for a mini capsule collection suitable for chic and stylish moments this fall. The 40-year-old designer follows a long legacy of fashion aficionados who’ve used their innovation to push the automotive industry forward, including Virgil Abloh, Eddie Bauer, Paul Smith and Jeremy Scott.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:

Why A Solo Trip To Aruba Was The Nervous System Reset I Needed This Winter

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I host every year, from intimate dinner parties to holiday movie nights and even bigger holiday parties for my business. I’m also always the person who encourages others this time of year who are navigating grief, but this year I found myself holding more than I could carry.

2025 was a beautiful year, one marked by growth, travel, and wins I worked hard for, but it also carried profound grief. The day before Thanksgiving, my godfather, who helped raise me and had been a second father to me my entire life, passed away. On the day of his funeral, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital as he began treatment.
