Coco Jones is closing one chapter of her life and embracing the next. The Bel-Air star has spent three seasons playing Hilary Banks in the reimagining. However, the series will end after season four. Coco spoke to Variety about the bittersweet moment.

"We literally just wrapped our last days, dude, the other day. It was so emotional. Because I’m very much not a crybaby at work. I’m like, I don’t feel things at work, I clock in, thank you," she said.

"But when they were like that’s a picture wrap on Coco Jones, it felt like all the last four years slapped me in the face and all the highs of being Hilary and all the time where I had to push myself because I would get off set and go right to the studio because I wanted music to be ready so I had to do all the things, I felt like it just slapped me. It’s kind of like you had a baby. That was the hardest thing ever. I’m so happy, thank you so much and wow, I really, really pushed myself to the limit. Shout out to Corbin Bleu."

While the show will be ending soon, she knows it only leaves room for her to explore more opportunities. At 27, Coco says she's just getting started. "I wouldn’t say it’s hard for me. I would say I always want to have something to look forward to," she explained.

"It would be hard if I didn’t have bigger dreams and goals for myself. It would be hard if this was the farthest I could believe for myself. It would be hard if I felt like that was the best thing that will ever happen to me. But that’s not what I believe. I believe I’m just starting and there’s way more to do, so no, I move on with gratitude and I move the hell on!"

For Coco, moving on in her next chapter involves becoming a wife. In July, a photo of the "Taste" singer with her beau, NBA star Donovan Mitchell, went viral after it showed the couple celebrating their engagement. The couple quietly dated for two years before getting engaged and now the Grammy winning artist is ready to plan their wedding.

"Yeah. I think it’s important for me to have my Coco life and my Courtney life and I want to give them both energy. So yeah, I definitely have my Pinterest boards loading, I have my inspos and I feel like it’s so interesting because I do events all the time," she said.

"And so I’m like, wardrobe, photos, glam… Hello, a regular day for me. But I keep trying to remind myself, no. This is Courtney’s thing and this is different, this isn’t work. This is a personal moment that is important and don’t desensitize yourself because it’s another dress and another look and another glam. It’s a wedding, okay? So it’s different."

Sergio Hudson On Designing With Intention And Who Gets Left Out Of The Industry

Sergio Hudson dreamt big as a young South Carolina boy staring out of the window of his mom’s Volvo driving down the Ridgeway, South Carolina streets. Those dreams led him to design opulent tailoring that’s been worn by Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, just to name a few.

Those dreams have come full circle in a new way as he recently collaborated with Volvo for a mini capsule collection suitable for chic and stylish moments this fall. The 40-year-old designer follows a long legacy of fashion aficionados who’ve used their innovation to push the automotive industry forward, including Virgil Abloh, Eddie Bauer, Paul Smith and Jeremy Scott.

Why A Solo Trip To Aruba Was The Nervous System Reset I Needed This Winter

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I host every year, from intimate dinner parties to holiday movie nights and even bigger holiday parties for my business. I’m also always the person who encourages others this time of year who are navigating grief, but this year I found myself holding more than I could carry.

2025 was a beautiful year, one marked by growth, travel, and wins I worked hard for, but it also carried profound grief. The day before Thanksgiving, my godfather, who helped raise me and had been a second father to me my entire life, passed away. On the day of his funeral, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital as he began treatment.

6 Signs It's Time To Leave 'It' Behind You In 2026

Y’all know what folks tend to do in the hours leading up to a new year — they make New Year’s Resolutions. And while I’m personally not the biggest fan of those (check out “Forget New Year's Resolutions, Try This Instead.”), what I do like to recommend is taking personal inventory to see what you need to hold on to and what you can stand to actually…let go of.

So, let’s get right into it.
