If you’ve been watching season 2 of Emily in Paris like we have, then you might have noticed a new handsome addition to the show. His name is Lucien Laviscount and his character Alfie plays Emily’s new love interest. Alfie is a British banker who Emily, played by Lily Collins, meets in French class.

But who is Lucien?

Well, for starters he is British in real life and so the accent comes with the package. *Swoons* But what else do we know about the 29-year old model/ actor? Find out below:

He’s Not New to This, He’s True to This

According to his IMDB page, Lucien has been acting since 2002. Born in Ribble Valley, Lancashire, England, he has starred in many British television series and films such as Honeytrap and American TV series like the popular, but short-lived Scream Queens. He was also on the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother in 2011.

The Ladies Love Him

Speaking of Scream Queens, Lucien was reportedly seen out with his co-star Keke Palmer multiple times in 2015. He has also been romantically linked to Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Kelly Osbourne.

Filming 'Emily in Paris' was His First Time in the French Capital

In an interview with Time, Lucien said, “It was actually my first time in Paris. It was literally like Lucien in Paris! The city is like a huge museum with the roof taken off—everything is a spectacle. It’s got this mystery and culture and this energy that lifts through it. I was just blown away by being there.”

Lucien Got the 'Emily in Paris' Job Right Away

Speaking with Harper’s Bazaar, Lucien detailed his audition process. "I was in New York working on some other projects, and my manager just said, 'Lucien, you've got a meeting with Darren Star. He wants you to read for Emily in Paris.' So I dropped everything I was doing. I sent the audition tapes back within the hour, and I got a call back an hour later saying, 'Darren and Lily want to Zoom with you tomorrow,'" he said.

"The whole time I was expecting to read my scenes again, and at the end of the call, they were just like, 'We'll be in touch.' And I got a call an hour later saying, 'You're off to Paris.' It was so quick."

Fitness Runs in the Family

Lucien’s father, Eugene Laviscount, is a former professional bodybuilder who runs his own gym and so that may be why the actor knows how to stay fit. He toldGQ that he works out four times a week and his favorite body part to work out is his arms.

If someone had told me I’d be working toward my third fibroid surgery in less than six years, I would have had a hard time believing them. First, because obviously, no one wants to ever hear the word "surgery" (unless it’s cosmetic surgery you’re opting for). But the more significant reason is I’d never heard any of the women in my life talk about fibroids, so the idea of having all of the complex issues because of them, on top of surgeries, was truly a foreign concept.
