A new season is the perfect time for change. Whether it be your wardrobe, your hair, or your location, the summer is the best time to bring a fresh perspective to your life.

Another way to embrace change is to spice up your living space by redecorating your home and a new collaboration between Solange Knowles' Saint Heron and IKEA is aiming to do just that.

What happens when you take the eclectic, innovative style of Solange Knowles and combine it with the affordable, modern aesthetic of furniture giant IKEA? Well, you get their upcoming design collaboration that promises to be forward-thinking while offering designs that excel at multifunctional use.

First reported by industry insider Hypebae, head designer Marcus Engman confirmed early last month that IKEA would move forward with its plans to collaborate with Solange's creative company Saint Heron. The collection is said to "explore architectural and interior design objects intended for multifunctional use." The collaboration is part of IKEA's 2018 Democratic Design Days program.

Engman also said that the Saint Heron collab was essentially born out of curiosity. "At IKEA we are curious about the creative space in between architecture, design, art and music and how that could come alive in the homes of the many people. This is what we want to explore together with Saint Heron."

At press time, there is no release date for the Saint Heron x IKEA furniture collab, but you can get a sneak peek in the video below:

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." But y'all, the more time I spend on this planet, the more I come to see that one of the reasons why it's so hard to hit the mark, when it comes to all things love-related, is because you first have to define love in order to know how to do it…right and well.

Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:
