Iman is opening up about her marriage with the late musician David Bowie. The couple got married in Florence, Italy in 1992, after meeting a couple of years before.

The supermodel recalled how David "wooed" her. For example, he picked her up from the airport after she flew back from a modeling gig in Paris and one time her shoelace became untied while they were walking down the street and he got on his knees to tie her shoe.

But after 26 years together, David passed away in 2016 from cancer. Now, Iman is reflecting on their life together and spoke with People about her life now.

"There are days that are harder than others, but the memories are not all sad of why the person isn't here. The memories are now of how great it was," she said. "Sometimes I have to remind myself that I had 26 years. So I have that to sustain me."

One of the ways that she is keeping her husband's memory alive is by creating the fragrance, Love Memoir, which is exclusively sold on hsn.com.

She also has no plans of getting remarried. "No, I will not. I still feel married. Someone a few years ago referred to David as my late husband and I said 'No, he's not my late husband. He's my husband,'" she stated.

"I definitely feel his presence, especially when I look out over the glorious sunsets at our home because David loves sunsets," she says. "So in that way he is ever-present. Through my memory, my love lives."

The Somali beauty also recently stopped by Watch What Happens Live and spoke more in-depth about how she and the beloved musician met.

She revealed that the first concert she ever attended was David Bowie's Station to Station show in 1976, although they didn't meet until the '90s. Being a huge fan of the artist, she attended multiple shows and was even invited to go backstage, but she never did. They would eventually be set up on a blind date.

"He was doing [the] Sound and Vision tour, so I went to see him in L.A.," she said. "I'm usually not late for concerts because it's difficult to get in, but I was late. I was behind [the] stage. I was coming to my seat and he was just about to go on stage and he stopped. That's how we met actually and he shook my hand and said, 'I hope you have a good night.'"

She said the next day her hairstylist invited her to a birthday party, but when she got there, it was just her, David, and her hairstylist and hairstylist's boyfriend. Iman and David have been together ever since.

The couple shares a daughter together named Alexandria Jones.

Hmph. Maybe it’s just me, but it seems like there is something really weird happening in the fall season air (because winter doesn’t officially begin until December 21) that cuddle season is in full swing while break-up season is as well. In fact, did you know that break-ups are so popular during the holiday season that December 11 is deemed Break-Up Day?

The reasons why relationships shift around this time vary; however, I did both roll my eyes and chuckle when I read that a very popular one is because it’s an easy way to get out of getting one’s significant other a Christmas present. SMDH.

Sergio Hudson On Designing With Intention And Who Gets Left Out Of The Industry

Sergio Hudson dreamt big as a young South Carolina boy staring out of the window of his mom’s Volvo driving down the Ridgeway, South Carolina streets. Those dreams led him to design opulent tailoring that’s been worn by Beyoncé, Queen Latifah, former Vice President Kamala Harris and Forever First Lady Michelle Obama, just to name a few.

Those dreams have come full circle in a new way as he recently collaborated with Volvo for a mini capsule collection suitable for chic and stylish moments this fall. The 40-year-old designer follows a long legacy of fashion aficionados who’ve used their innovation to push the automotive industry forward, including Virgil Abloh, Eddie Bauer, Paul Smith and Jeremy Scott.
