Wendy Williams Is Ready For Love But Doesn’t Want To Get Married Again

Wendy Williams is single and ready to mingle. After divorcing her husband Kevin Hunter of more than 20 years in 2019, the former talk show host is looking for love while also embarking on a new career. Wendy toldHollywood Life, “I can’t wait to fall in love. However, there’s no money in getting married, so I will never get married again. But to fall in love, I’ll probably have to go through 40 or 50 men before I find the right one.”

Wendy’s marriage to Kevin was plagued with controversy and ultimately they decided to call it quits after Kevin reportedly had a baby with another woman. The two were business partners and Kevin served as her manager and an executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show. So when it comes to finding a new man in her life, he has to have the coin.

“He’s got to make more money than me…I know what I want,” Wendy confessed.

While the mother of one may have lost her talk show, she already has a new project lined up. Wendy recently announced her new podcast titled The Wendy Experience. She shared the exciting news on Instagram with a post alluding to the end of her talk show era. “When one door closes a LARGER one Opens! Last Day on SET!” she wrote.

The former radio DJ’s talk show came to a close after months of Wendy missing episodes due to her declining health. Different people such as Sherri Shepherd, whose own talk show is premiering this fall, filled in for the talk show, and ultimately the network decided to pull the plug.

It was reported that the 57-year-old diva’s complications with Graves’ disease and COVID-19 diagnosis are what prompted her to pull away from the talk show. In a February IG post, Wendy shared that she was doing a lot better. “I am going back stronger. I’m 57 years old,” she said in the video. “There are things that happen to people. I would say things usually start about 40 and they go up from there. You know, so you got to eat the right food.”

But more recently in a TMZ interview, she opened up about her lymphedema, which she revealed she was diagnosed with in 2019.

“I can only feel 5% of my feet. Do you understand? Which means normally I would be in a wheelchair,” she said. “I’m not in a wheelchair. I stand up.”
