These Looks Prove The Athleisure Trend Is All The Rage

I'm not sure who coined the term "athleisure" but I am all the way here for it. Don't know what it is? Well, first of all, it's a look that has been absolute clutch in this pandemic with most of us quarantining and working from home. It's a combination between athletic wear and leisure wear. It's comfortable enough to wear around the house but it's also cute enough to run errands or to pick up quarantine snacks. And these days, it's the trend that doesn't seem like it plans on letting up anytime soon.

In order to dive deeper into this highly coveted trend, I looked to two of my absolute favorite influencers Marche' Robinson and Erica Fae to show you exactly how to rock athleisure wear.

Marche' Robinson stuns in Nike, be it neon green or orange. The brand has the best colorways in both their shoes and clothes and they make it super easy to rock the monochromatic look with their athleisure wear. When the weather changes, the bike shorts can easily be swapped out for a pair of leggings.

See what I mean? Erica Fae's monochromatic athleisure set from Body By Raven Tracy looks so bomb with leggings. I love how Erica paired her set with plush slippers that are perfect for relaxing.

This may be TMI but traditional bras are one item that I haven't used a lot since we've been quarantining. I mean really, what is the reason? But I absolutely have been all about the sports bra. When paired with bike shorts or leggings, it adds some sexy while still maintaining comfort. Heading out to get more snacks? Throw on a cute light jacket like Marche' has up above.

Champion is the OG of athletic wear! Marche' paired a matching bodysuit with her Champion sweats. The versatility of sweatpants is unmatched.

I am obsessed with all things one piece: bodysuits, rompers, overalls, you name it; so when I saw Marche' rocking this Nike sports bodysuit I definitely made sure to grab one too! It is so comfortable and it is a whole look. They're still available at Nike.com so you'd better get one while you can.

Exclusive: Zonnique On 'The Break Up' & How Her Relationship With Tiny Shaped Her Approach To Motherhood

The last time Zonnique and I connected was two years ago, in 2021, when she was celebrating her very first Mother’s Day as Hunter’s mommy. Now, two years have passed, and so much has happened. She has released her latest EP after a five-year hiatus from the music scene, she became the host of FOX Soul’s The Mix, and I even lost my own mother. We had a lot to catch up on.
