Honest moment: sometimes it's easy for giving back to be pushed to the back burner by all the other things going on during the holidays.

But if you're someone wanting to indulge in your charitable endeavors this holiday season, no worries, we're sharing 5 effortless ways to make a difference by doing things you already love to do:

Shop.

You're already going to shop for gifts. Why not get a little more conscious about opportunities to donate at checkout? Regardless of whether you're dropping spare change into a jar or using a card reader to donate, you'll be making a worthwhile difference. If you really want to knock it out of the park, you can also practice shopping socially responsible brands who have a focus on giving back. That way, every time you make a purchase, you also contribute to change.

Read.

If you're cool with putting on a little performance, you should volunteer to read to elementary students this holiday season. You can light up the world of a kid with just 20 minutes of your time, and show them that reading is still cool.

Play.

Volunteer to help out with a sports team, putting on plays, or other extracurricular activity geared toward at-risk youth. You'll get an opportunity to have fun while doubling as a mentor. The Boys & Girls Club or your local YMCA might be a great place to start.

Run.

Search around for 5ks or a marathon scheduled to take place over the next couple of months. Lots of these events raise money for charitable organizations. You'll get a head start on your New Year resolution to get fit while also making a difference.

Party.

People love a good holiday shindig. Who better to host the next lit mixer or kickback this season than you? Turn your holiday party into a fundraiser for your favorite charity by asking guests to donate cash in exchange for a good cause. You'll get to be the Rockstar who throws a bomb party and gives their friends a cool way to donate.

What Loving Yourself Actually Looks Like

Whitney said it, right? She told us that if we simply learned to love ourselves, what would ultimately happen is, we would achieve the "Greatest Love of All." Personally, I am a Bible follower, so The Love Chapter is certainly a great reference point. Let's go with the Message Version of it today:
