Life is but a dream.

When you think about your ideal life, what does it look like?

xoNecole’s Living My Dream series, in partnership with the new 2017 Toyota Corolla, seeks to answer that question in a multitude of ways by featuring several career-driven women, emblazoned and empowered by the entrepreneurial spirit. Success comes in many forms, but in its purest form, it looks like a life where you blaze your own path, and your purpose is truly fulfilled. For these women, their lives are even more than their dreams. They’ve surpassed the “what ifs” and hypotheticals, and have made their dreams a powerful reality.

In the second episode, we spotlight the ever so fabulous and real, Myleik Teele. The entrepreneur spent most of her twenties working as a publicist to beauty brands and music artists, but found herself increasingly unfulfilled though acquiring what she initially thought was success. After her client, drummer Travis Barker, was involved in a plane crash, she saw it as a sign to reevaluate her life and be true to living and fulfilling her purpose. She eventually pressed reset when she moved from LA to Atlanta, and it was there that the idea to launch curlBOX – a subscription service box who love hair products – came to life.

curlBOX launched with a bang and has been profitable for Teele ever since. Teele also serves as a virtual mentor to thousands of women through her personal brand My Taught You, which includes yearly progress journals, worksheets, and a popular podcast dedicated to giving women valuable advice on how to excel in business.

Why A Solo Trip To Aruba Was The Nervous System Reset I Needed This Winter

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. I host every year, from intimate dinner parties to holiday movie nights and even bigger holiday parties for my business. I’m also always the person who encourages others this time of year who are navigating grief, but this year I found myself holding more than I could carry.

2025 was a beautiful year, one marked by growth, travel, and wins I worked hard for, but it also carried profound grief. The day before Thanksgiving, my godfather, who helped raise me and had been a second father to me my entire life, passed away. On the day of his funeral, my grandfather was admitted to the hospital as he began treatment.
