While it's scorching hot outside, it's freezing at your desk -- how do you win? From now until September 23, it's our duty to keep it cute and cool.

This season, try your best to dress comfortably by being prepared for changes in weather and scenery. I try my best to style and profile like Joan Clayton circa 2004 but even I need some assistance when the temperatures are above 90 degrees. When in doubt, play it safe and mix some of your go-to staples like blazers, skirts and dresses.

Polka Dots

Polka dots are quintessential to a work wardrobe and having them in black and white is a requirement. While it's a retro print, you can pair it with almost anything. If you're feeling bold, try mixing it with another design.
