Who doesn't want to be warm and fly during the fall season? At this point in the season, your choice of coat or jacket is one of the biggest decisions you will make every day. This is why you must be ready to express yourself in the best way possible. If you haven't noticed, those lovely blue skies are quickly morphing into a cloudy gray realism. If you're like me, you may not be ready to put away some of your favorite summer looks. The best way to keep that hope alive is to pair it with some bomb outerwear.

Taking prompts from the big fashion houses like Prada and their obsession with the puff and Fendi's poppin' plaid, you have more options than you know. Don't fret because we have gathered some coats you will fall for this season!

Puffer Coat

@mesyeuxsurtoi

Yellow pops like gold on melanin women. Keep the color alive during fall by snagging a puffer coat. Puffer coats are reminiscent of the 90s, so get your Aaliyah on with some boyfriend jeans and a turtleneck like Soreya.

Plaid Coat

@ninaaigbe_

No need to keep the plaid pattern in the office. Take it to the streets and make it your own. We love how Nina dolled it up with a mini skirt.

@romeosfashionfix

We don't know about you but faux fur coats makes us think about Joanne the Scammer. Good thing we can keep it cute like Joanne while also taking some notes from Juliette. Coord sets are the goat – the coat elevates the look to high fashion realness.

Emma's coat is heavier than the other so it's ideal for the beauties living in the cities with brutal falls that resemble winter. The color also exudes the changing of the leaves during autumn.

If you're looking for edge, rock a motorcycle jacket. The texture and style of a moto jacket is simply incredible.

October is about the power of attraction. This is the month to set your intentions, create space for a new beginning, and find your balance between the past, present, and future. There aren’t many astrological transits this month, signaling more possibilities in the air and an opportunity to create that which you desire.

We begin the month in Libra Season, and Libra Season is always the time of year when love is the highlight. With Juno also entering Sagittarius on October 1, right as we begin the month, it’s about committing yourself to a new adventure, to the gifts of love, and to perspectives that heal and bring you closer to another.

Question: Are You People's 'Battery Charger' Or 'Battery Drainer'?

A battery in the back. Sometimes, when I’m talking to a client about a destructive pattern that they are in with someone else, that is the phrase that I will use — “You’re acting like they have a battery in your back or something.” We all pretty much know what this means: Sometimes people give other individuals too much control over their lives.

On the heels of this, I really do wish that I could give proper credit to whatever show I was watching when someone was also talking about batteries as it relates to human interactions. What they said was that, when it comes to how we deal with folks, at the end of the day, we are either a battery charger or a battery drainer — and lawd, is that not the freakin’ truth?
