Regina King Supporting Andra Day's Golden Globe Win Is Peak Black Girl Magic

I'm not sure how many times I can say that we don't deserve Regina King on this here platform, but here is one more: we don't deserve her. At all. She is a whole, live goddess out here, which she has shown time and time again. And her sustainability and longevity in this game proves this to be true.

In her latest act of magical being, Ms. King set her sights on Andra Day, who is coming off a high of playing the legendary blues singer, Billie Holiday in United States vs. Billie Holiday, had just became the second Black woman in history to win the Golden Globe for 'Best Actress In A Motion Picture - Drama', and King and her dog, Cornbread, crashed her on-air interview with Access Hollywood's Scott Evans to celebrate. The rest went down in black joy history books.

I am literally tearing up right now.

Any who, the reaction was captured by the cameras, which Day uploaded to her Instagram account with the caption:

"kept tryna come up wit a caption for dis but I jus...u inspire me n ur love soooooo real! livin legend, brilliant @iamreginaking#onenightinmiami"

King, who was up for her own Golden Globe for Best Director for the movie One Night in Miami..., didn't give one damn, as she went to support, cheer, and love on, Andra. Just imagine all of the conversations between the two that caused them to celebrate this way. Love to see it!

And everyone loved it just as much as I did!

Please check on me later, guys. I am not OK. *sobs*

This may be Andra's first major role since bursting on the scene with her song, "Rise Up". But to be embraced this way by the one and only Ms. King, lets me know that we'll see her in many, MANY, more.

Congrats, Andra!

7 Sex-Related Problems That Ruin Sex (And Possibly Your Relationship)

Not too long ago, while in an interview, someone asked me to define one of the main purposes of sex in a long-term relationship: “Probably the most intimate form of communication that we have is sex because it’s an act that connects one’s physical, mental and emotional state to another human being simultaneously — and communication doesn’t get much more profound than that.”
