Instagram is many things but most importantly it is a style forecaster. Black women continue to move culture, and style is ultimately at the forefront. Before you see it in Vogue, best believe a Black woman did it first and better. Summer is winding down meaning it's time to pull out all of the fashion stops. It also means that some of us heading back to school or work after the best season ever. We've said it before and we will say it again: STOP SAVING LOOKS! What are you saving them for? Because Big Rona and her cousin, Delta, have shown us that we have to live life to the fullest.


Last week, we saw personal style reign supreme. From bold prints to radiant colors, the IGers applied all the pressure in their respective ways. The biggest trend of them all: confidence. And that's half the battle; believing that you look fly as hell makes others join in on that joy. It also empowers onlookers to explore within their personal style. We can't lie — we are taking cues from these queens on how to really have a hot girl summer for the next 40+ days.
