Issa meal!

I'm here for a ton of our faves releasing their secrets to amazing recipes. From the infamous Smollett family's cookbook to Uncle Snoop giving us his own secrets (I'm so ready for those), celebrities aren't holding back when it comes to sharing their recipes with us. If you're like me, you'll be surprised that some of them can really get down in the kitchen like that! But even if it's a shocker, I definitely want to see what they're bringing to the table. Can we get a plate though?

The Family Table: Recipes and Moments from a Nomadic Life

So who knew the Smollett family had time to take a break from taking over the world to create a cookbook? But they did and it's pretty amazing. If you're a major fan of this famous family, you know they moved around a lot when they were younger (13 times to be exact). It turns out they made sure that no matter how busy they were or what city they were in, they would eat dinner together. Black excellence at its finest. Now they want to share the family moments they had via meals with all of us. Some of their most popular ones include honey sriracha chicken skewers, 7th Ward gumbo, North African chicken stew, and potato crab au gratin. Um, this family knows how to get down.

Though that was just nineteen months ago, things were different. Perhaps the world then felt more receptive to our light as Black women.

At the time, we launched It Girl 100 to spotlight the huge motion we were making as dope, GenZennial Black women leaving our mark on culture. The girls were on the rise, flourishing, drinking their water, minding their business, leading companies, and learning to do it all softly, in rest. We wanted to celebrate that momentum—because we love that for us.
