Everything You Need To Know About Uranus In Taurus

Horoscopes

Uranus, the planet that many astrologers refer to as "The Great Awakener", recently settled into pleasure-seeking Taurus where it will remain until 2026. Over the next several years, this erratic planet will push us out of our comfort zone in nothing less than its disruptive fashion. As much as we'd prefer for change to be smooth and easy, Uranus has other ideas in mind that often result in shake-ups within our foundation that ultimately give way for something new to be defined.

During the past seven years, the planet of chaos has spent its time in the bold, trailblazing sign that is Aries which likely resulted in some upheaval as it pertains to your personal identity and autonomy. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is all about the self. While Uranus was transiting through this fiery sign, there were likely some defining moments in which you were challenged to define yourself apart from the group, whether that be your family, friends, or any organization you were apart of (this includes the workplace and educational environments).

Any abrupt changes that you experienced during the transit were meant to develop your creative problem-solving skills while teaching you to be more adaptable to life and the curve balls it throws at us sometimes. While the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) took the hardest hits over the last several years, they also experienced some of the most transformational growth as well. You can check out which planets you have in any of those signs to pinpoint which area of your life Uranus wreaked havoc in.

Up until 2026, this eccentric planet will begrudgingly move through Taurus, a very stable sign completely juxtaposing Uranus' energy, paving the way for new foundations related to the way that we earn money, what we value, and how we utilize our resources. As destabilizing as this transit can be, we are ultimately being gifted the opportunity to strip away our attachment to the status quo to embody a more liberated, authentic expression of self.

Capricorn & Capricorn Rising

Over the next several years, you'll be experiencing a massive awakening when it comes to your self-expression. Uranus in Taurus trines your sign, making this a pretty favorable transit for you that invites you to reconnect with your inner child. Out of all of the signs, you're likely to feel the most rebellious especially if you've been suppressing your creative abilities and desire to play.

This transit may give you a case of Benjamin Button syndrome, encouraging you to loosen up and take a less serious approach to life. Great adventures await but it's up to you to see the value in a more unconventional, less-traveled path.

Your senses will be on overdrive during this transit, providing you with an abundance of creative ideas that have the potential to provide lasting financial security in the long run. Dating and romance will also bring you some amazing opportunities to have more fun, which is ultimately the energy you need to be in to receive those million-dollar ideas. Be open to connecting with people that aren't your usual type and you'll be in for an exciting ride!

When we think of R&B, we think of soul. Soul, by definition, is emotional or intellectual energy or intensity, especially as revealed in a work of art or an artistic performance. Black people are soul. Everything about us. Our hair. Our energy. Our skin. And, without a doubt, the creativity that courses through every inch of who we are. So, when it comes to our music, spiritual experiences are often what we call them. Makes sense, for there are no other people who remain unbroken the way we do. And every so often, an artist comes along who seems to be the physical manifestation of all that we are.

As the summer comes to an end, we must welcome the time for change. Say goodbye to summer and hello to cooler weather! And we know what that means ladies: We have to switch up our fashion trends, how we wear our hair, and even our skincare routines. When it comes to skincare, we as Black queens have to make sure our products are on point for all the seasons. It is crucial for us to protect our blessed and melanated beauty.

You would think with the amount of trends and dollars being put behind beauty brands, that there would be better representation in the medical field to help us understand our skin better from the jump. Unfortunately, Black physicians only make up 5% of the physician population, and if we want to talk about Black dermatologists specifically, well that number is even lower.

It can be more than challenging trying to balance childcare, COVID-19 prevention (hey, Delta), and work. It's hard enough not worrying about whether your kid's school will cancel in-person classes or shut down altogether while facing the not-so-usual growing pains of children and teens who are forced to live in whatever phase of a pandemic we're in right now. (I mean, is it really post-pandemic? Is it halfway done or just beginning? And what's "normal" about this "new" environment?)

Moms, we feel your pain.
