What It Really Means To Go With The Flow

Sometimes it seems that we live our lives on autopilot, unable to absorb the blessing in each moment. Or that we're buzzed on symbolic caffeine, and I can't stop "doing". Our world encourages us to constantly be constructive, and even when we do get some much needed R&R, we still somehow get roped up into doing something!

In truth, one of the only ways to get in tune with self, is to tune out. And to truly live in the present moment means to recognize and connect deeply with the energies around you.

Ultimately, this is a deep understanding that you are individually an incarnation of all that exists and connected to the universal oneness.

3 Reasons To Go With The Flow & Stay Present In Life

You'll Find Joy In Being Present

By understanding I AM Presence, God is not only a being that you acknowledge as a higher power, or a "man in the heavens," rather, you awaken to that higher power within yourself.

One way to actively be present is to become childlike. When you look at children playing, they are enjoying the world from a limitless perception. Their innocence allows them to find divine joy in their existence alone and is the reason why children find joy in just being.

The use of their imagination is connected to the I AM presence because they are more sensitive to energy, and are amazed by the most trivial things. They react to colors, movement, animals, sounds, and other people with zero ego (or separation of self), and pure wonderment.

As adults, we lose these innate senses. But undergoing Spiritual Awakening allows us to get back to the very essence of what our souls are made of. We then feel truly fulfilled by just being.

If you think about how nature works, you realize that everything just happens. The sun just rises, and the moon sets. None of these entities require extra work to be to be done for this cycle to function.

This doesn't mean that you don't have to get up, make a living, make things happen, and achieve your goals. Living in flow does not mean you are a passer-byer in your own life. In fact, it's quite the opposite. When you are living in flow, you are actively creating your own reality and manifesting the desires of your heart.

Manifestation happens when you set your intentions towards your highest good, and you allow the universe to deliver your order. As you live your life day by day, you actively work towards the highest vision you have for your life, and you watch in amazement as the universe delivers all that you asked for in flow.

How many things have come about in your life so seamlessly that it didn't make any sense, or it felt too perfect?

This is ebb and flow, and just like things in nature, your life just happens.

You'll Become One With Your Intuition

Another way to benefit from the vibration of being present, is to just be still. Quieting your mind helps clear the clutter of confusion, scattered emotions, thoughts, and other energetic noise. It is often through silence that you hear what your higher self is trying to transpire to your soul.

Instead of watching TV, or even reading a book sometimes, just sit with yourself. Close your eyes, or even stare at the wall. Go outside in nature, and do your best to just think about nothing. Look at the birds flying by, or the trees blowing in the wind. Feel your connection to nature. Enter into a vibration of the "wave realizing that it is also the whole ocean."

Meditate in this frequency. Tap into your internal guidance to see what it has to tell you.

Auntie O says:

"Every one of us has an internal guidance, a GPS, an intuition, a heart print, a heart song that speaks to us. Your only job is to be able to listen and discern when it's speaking versus your head and your personality speaking, and if you follow that, you will be led to the highest good for you, always."

So on that note, be present and be in flow.
