Tired of Indeed? Here Are 5 Other Places To Find Jobs Online

"Sometimes you have to put your eggs in more than one basket to find your perfect job."

This is the advice that I gave my best friend who had lost faith and confidence in herself while job hunting. My BFF had been circulating her resume through almost every job posting on Indeed and ZipRecruiter.

After submitting over 30 applications within a matter of days and getting zero responses or feedback, she became weary and thought that just maybe it wasn't her time to get a new job, or a fresh start in her life.

While venting to me about her job search woes, I explained to her that other jobs exist outside of the job search realms that we are used to. Besides Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, and ZipRecruiter, there are hundreds of other online job search engines and boards that can help you find your ideal job. And lucky her, she's landed a few interviews!

I've rounded up my favorite job search engines that partner with thousands of companies and post dope jobs on a daily basis. Jopwell, created by two Black Millennials, is a diversity hiring startup that helps companies connect with and recruit minorities for jobs and internship opportunities. Jopwell, which was founded in 2014, works with some of the most sought after companies and organizations, and also offers career advice through their blog, The Well.

The Muse (formerly known as The Daily Muse) is an online career resource where you can get all of your career needs met in one place. Besides being able to apply for dope jobs, with The Muse you can get behind-the-scene looks at some of your favorite companies, read career articles, and get connected with a career coach.

If you are a creative looking for a job, MediaBistro is for you! MediaBistro's job board listings range from full-time to freelance gigs to writing, editing, and management jobs. In addition to being able to hunt for jobs, MediaBistro has a career blog that you can read for advice.

On Fairygodboss, you can view company ratings and job listings, and read discussion boards and career advice from women like you and I.
