Sheriden Garrett, Managing Editor

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"My favorite scent of the moment is Prada Candy Florale by Prada."

What She Loves About It:

"I love its smell, its potency, and its vibe."

What She Could Live Without:

"It can fade after a while, which isn't necessarily a con for me, but can be for someone else."

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I love this fragrance because it feels like me wrapped up in a bottle. I've never been a huge fan of floral scents, but when I came across Prada Candy Florale, I was like, where have I been? Not only are we allowing what we wear to be a stamp on our signature, but we're also further eliciting whatever vibe or energy we feel about us and want others to feel about us. So in this case, Candy Florale is helping me serve equal parts flirtiness, sensuality, femininity, while being surprisingly low-key. It's my ultimate date night fragrance, but also adds a bit of warmth to my day to day with a slight dab on the wrists and neck."

Pookah Pure & Simple

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"One of my favorite perfumes is Fresh Sugah by Pooka Pure & Simple."

What She Loves About It:

"It's long lasting and very portable. It fits in your purse and easy to apply whenever needed. Because they are made from natural oils such as coconut and jojoba oils, they are good for people who have alcohol allergies. They are also affordable and priced at $14.99."

What She Could Live Without:

"Because it's an oil, you want to make sure that it doesn't stain your clothes. After you apply, make sure you rub it in to let the oil set into your skin."

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I love fresh and fruity scents that aren't overwhelming. It's also great for layering with other Pooka scents. Another favorite of mine is Island Mimosa."

CLEAN

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"My favorite perfume brand hands down is CLEAN. All of their scents will have you smelling like a snack."

Why She Loves It:

"I love it because the bottles will last you a while."

What She Could Live Without:

"Cost. They're pretty pricey."

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I personally love their 'Cotton' collection because it features scents you can wear year round!"

Ashleigh Hardin-Jones, Social Media Manager

Her Favorite Fragrance(s):

"This was hard because I'm a perfume connoisseur. I collect them and especially the bottle so I have a ton of faves from Beyonce Heat to Chanel No 5. But I narrowed it down to 2, one for those on a budget and one for the splurgers: Viktor & Rolf and Jessica Simpson's Fancy."

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

What She Loves About It:

"It smells amazing and a little goes a long way!"

What She Could Live Without:

"You're going to have to dig deep in your pockets and gather your coins because it's expensive with a price tag of $140."

Why It's A Signature Scent:

"Call me behind the times but I didn't know about Flower Bomb until Wale put it in a song. When I looked it up I saw the price tag, saved it to my Amazon wish list and that's where it's been sitting for the past 4-5 years. Until now. I finally have it and I'm so in love with the scent. It's perfect for a night out or a night in with bae. I received it as a Christmas gift so if you're on a budget like me, you can add it to your birthday, Valentine's day, or Christmas list (it's never too early)."

On the cheaper end...

Jessica Simpson's Fancy

Why She Loves It:

"I love its lasting scent, that it's under $20, and that it lasts."

What She Could Live Without:

"The rose gold foil on the cap rubs off over time I use it."

Why It's A Signature Scent:

"This perfume released 10 years ago and I fell in love with the sweet smell. It's like Cotton Candy but for grown ass women. It's perfect for everyday wear and I love the design on the bottle and around the neck of the cap."

Bonus: "I got Good Girl by Carolina Herrera recently and it's the cutest bottle, yes, a real heel! And a really nice scent. Price tag on $."

Zaniah Boykin, Writer

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"My favorite fragrance at the moment is My Burberry Blush."

Why She Loves It:

"It smells delicious. If you are into sweet scents, it smells the way your favorite candy taste. It is not overbearing. Unlike musky or woody scents, the aroma is quite delicate in a way that you'd want to lean in to smell more. It is long lasting. You do not need to spray a whole lot, and by the end of the day you will smell the fragrance on your skin and clothing."

What She Could Live Without:

"The price point is high. When you first smell it, you might want to bathe in it but with the 1 ounce priced at $70, you will start to use it sparingly. When you are headed for a night out with your girls, they will instantly want to spray some on their selves like it's Victoria's Secret's love spell in middle school and you might have to end the friendship or start charging them! (laughs)"

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I love wearing it because it smells beautiful, looks beautiful, and reminds me what a gift femininity is. It is a sweet scent, but very powerful, and smells expensive (laughs)! As an Eau de toilette girl who often found Eau de parfums to be too overbearing, this perfume allows me to experience the longevity of an oil based product without getting tired of it."

Taylor Honore, Associate Editor

Victoria's Secret

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"I love Crush by Victoria's Secret."

Why She Loves It:

"It's a light scent that's often on sale and can be appropriate for any season or occasion."

What She Could Live Without:

"You may have to reapply, it doesn't last long, and it can be expensive when it's not on sale."

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I came across this scent when I was working at VS & fell in love with it. It's light and floral and not too sweet. I'm not a huge perfume connoisseur, I haven't yet reached that level of adulting, but this one is always in my arsenal."

Shellie R. Warren, Writer

Her Favorite Fragrance:

"Back in my kickin' it days, I heard that the smell of pumpkin pie was an aphrodisiac for men (Google it, chile). While I don't know who discovered that first, let's just say they were on to something special (wink, wink)."

Why She Loves It:

"I like sweet scents but because I enjoy being (and smelling) unique, I usually mix some lavender oil in with it. The combo is...deliciously relaxing."

Why It's Her Signature Scent:

"I like how the potency of essential oils seem to last much longer than perfume or cologne. I can't even remember the last time I wore anything but an essential oil blend, honestly (cinnamon and orange or patchouli and jasmine blends are pretty dope too!). They're strong, affordable, customizable and the aromatherapy benefits are second-to-none."
