When you spend more than six hours in the workplace, you need to be sure you're looking bomb while doing it.
Summer can be tricky when it comes to your career wardrobe. In fact, you deserve a trophy if you make it to work with your edges still laid and free of sweat stains. While it's scorching hot outside, it's freezing at your desk -- how do you win? From now until September 23, it's our duty to keep it cute and cool.
This season, try your best to dress comfortably by being prepared for changes in weather and scenery. I try my best to style and profile like Joan Clayton circa 2004 but even I need some assistance when the temperatures are above 90 degrees. When in doubt, play it safe and mix some of your go-to staples like blazers, skirts and dresses.

Polka dots are quintessential to a work wardrobe and having them in black and white is a requirement. While it's a retro print, you can pair it with almost anything. If you're feeling bold, try mixing it with another design.

A good tuxedo dress will win over all the board members in your pitch meeting. Got some cute slinky sandals? Throw those bad boys on to elongate your gams.

The color red emanates daring and courageous vibes. It is especially fly when you are dripping in the hue from head to toe. And the best part about pulling off a red monochromatic look, is that you can pull from staples you already have. Go the extra mile and wear a bold red lip too.
