Sadly, we've reached the home-stretch of summer 2018. While we still have a few weeks to bask in the sunshine days, sultry nights and endless fun, before you know it, fall will be upon us.

To commemorate the end of summer, we've decided to give you a list of things to do with your boo, your friends, or yourself to give the summer season the proper send-off it deserves.

Check out our list of ways to turn up one last time for summer, and let us know how you plan to have some memorable fun as the summer days slowly come to a close!

Stargazing

Laying back, looking up at the stars never gets old, and what's even better is that it's one of the most memorable summer experiences that doesn't cost a dime.

Whether you're laying on a blanket with your boo, or prefer to gaze up at the stars alone, you definitely owe it to yourself to try it on a warm summer night.

Sunset Picnic

This is strictly for the lovers only.

On its own, a picnic is one of the most romantic things you can do, but when you add the natural beauty of a sunset, it becomes almost too good to be true. Get your favorite blanket, a collection of delicious finger foods that inspire you to feed each other, sit back, and let nature take its course.

Adult Campfire

Remember those days when you were a kid at camp and you and all your friends gathered around the campfire to sing songs, roast marshmallows, and just have careless fun? Well, you can still do it, but in an adult way!

Add some grown-up cocktails to the mix, some freestyle karaoke, and some of your favorite foods to roast by the fire, and you have a summer night to remember.

Do One Touristy Thing In Your City

Sometimes it's easy to take where you live for granted. With such busy lives and thinking of the next thing you have to do on your long list of tasks, fully appreciating your city can easily get lost.

Plan a day where you do one thing in your city that tourists usually do, but try to make it something that you've never actually done before. This way you can experience your city through a new set of eyes.

Grown-Up Water Fight

Not every summer activity has to be planned out on your itinerary, and this activity fits that criteria.

Take it back to the old school days when you would have neighborhood water fights, but instead invite all your friends over (or pick a central location like a park), fill up those water guns and balloons, and have a summer blast!

All-White Boat Party

Strictly for the grown and sexy, an all-white boat party is the epitome of a summer celebration.

Say farewell to summer by rounding up some of your closest friends and family, throw on your best all-white ensemble, board a boat, and sail around for a few hours with the cocktails of your choice.

Field Day With Friends

Okay, depending on your athletic ability when you were a kid you may have some fond or not-so-fond memories of field day.

However, for the sake of bidding adieu to summer try to round up your crew and have one adult-style. You can play some of the same games you did when you were young and combine them with more adult-focused ones, including activities that are a little raunchy or ones involving those who have kids. Finish it off with prizes for the winners and a backyard BBQ feast.

Boozy Miniature Golf

Even the most mundane activity is a little more fun when you throw alcohol into the mix.

Miniature golf is a fun thing to do, especially in the summer months, and luckily there are several places in most major cities that combine the easy sport with a host of endless cocktails. Make up some fun rules for the winners and losers that involve taking shots, and you'll be having a blast in no time!

Eat A Meal From Around The World

Don't have the time or budget to take a trip around the world? No worries, all you need for this trip is an open mind, a big appetite, and a list of countries to visit in culinary form.

Make a list of 10-12 countries whose food you have always wanted to try, and sample all of them. You can either try to make them yourself or order from different restaurants, the choice is yours.

Have A Throwback Party

Since we're currently living in the age of nostalgia, it's a no-brainer that having a throwback party should be at the top of your summer bucket list.

Ask your guests to pick their favorite decade, past look, or vintage celebrity style, and come dressed as their choice. Add in a playlist filled with throwback jams and a menu with classic cocktails and fun finger foods to double the fun.

Bonus: find the time to throw in a Soul Train line!

Devise A List Of 'Dares' And Pick Two

If doing daring things is something that totally terrifies you, this is exactly what you should do to celebrate the end of summer and break your fear.

You'll need a group of your nearest and dearest to each put 'dares' into a bowl and you pick two. Once you've completed them, allow everyone else to take a turn. This is a fun way to step outside your comfort zone and not worry about the opinion of others, simply because you're too focused on making dope summer memories.

Road Trip With No Destination

Road trips are always a great way to make memories, but when you embark on one with no destination, it's even more adventurous.

Throw caution to the wind and hop in the car (solo or with some passengers) and just go—with no thought or worry about where you'll end up. It will likely be an experience you won't forget and taking the scenic route is always a good thing, especially when you have your favorite summer playlist blasting.
