There's something to be said about a woman that goes after what she wants.

It's not a path to be taken lightly, or a journey walked by many, but as the road that's less traveled, it's often the best way to secure your spot to the top. For Kellee Edwards, the sky is absolutely the limit – both figuratively and literally.

After falling in love with travel at a young age while in the backseat of her parents' car, Kellee would later pursue her wanderlust in a big way. Not only did she become a pilot – one of the handful of black women to do so – she would also break barriers as the first black woman to host a show on the Travel Channel.

From 9 to 5 on Monday through Friday, Kellee worked in finance. But on the weekend, she indulged in her travel journalism dreams by packing her tripod and her camera to jetset around the country. She would eventually share her journey with the world by creating a Youtube Channel titled Kellee Set Go.

Years later, Kellee stands at yet another example of how powerful it is to speak your life into existence while doing the work.

Watch below as Kellee chronicles her journey of fearlessness and resilience from working as a bank teller to landing her very own show as the host of Mysterious Islands.
