Bruce Jenner gave Diane Sawyer the interview heard 'round the world on Friday night as the patriarch of the Jenner/Kardashian crew confirmed that he would now be referred to as "she," because he is physically transitioning into becoming a woman. While supporters, activists, and advocates alike jumped on social media to lend words of support, Wendy Williams clocked him for being "fame hungry" like the rest of the family.

After a long weekend, Wendy Williams was finally able to sit down for her "Hot Topics" segment to talk about Bruce's interview, saying that even though she was misty-eyed the entire time, she still sees him as being just as "fame hungry" as the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner crew. And it's no secret that Wendy isn't the biggest Kris Jenner fan (she called the woman evil!), but Wendy admits that through all of this, she feels bad for her, especially after 25 years of marriage.

I must say I cried almost the whole time. Seventeen million people watched and Diane Sawyer did a really good job.[...]I'm  happy for Bruce. I'm happy for anyone who can live in their own truth. And yeah, he is brave, because his life will never be the same. He'll be hunted like a wild dog for the rest of his life. He's different than Chaz (Cher's daughter who transitioned into a man), even though Chaz was the first that we know of to come out the way he did. But Chaz is not a part of one of the biggest reality shows in history. Also, the thing about Bruce is that it was all so deceptive because he really is a fame-hungry person like the rest of the family. I think watching the show we thought he was the calming force, the one who really didn't want to be bothered.

I was also really shocked that Kim was the most understanding and Khloé is the least understanding, but I also understand what he said about Khloé that Khloé has lost so many...she's had so much loss in her life, particularly men, so she's having a hard time understanding it. But she's not losing Bruce.

And another thing, Bruce. What is that? Is that a wig, a weave? I need some of this. And that face didn't move. He had a face full of fillers and botox. But I'm happy for him. Unfortunately at 65 years old, for the rest of his life wouldn't you agree, between the paparazzi following him and you all when you see him in the lingerie department, you're gonna be curious. You're gonna try to invade his privacy and take pictures and stuff. I couldn't live my life like that. If I also felt like [like him] that I was a woman, I couldn't live my life denying myself either. I think I would rather play dress up in the house and dress up with my friends than be hunted like a wild dog because paparazzi and people are very annoying.

And one more thing, I feel for Kris. As a woman, I feel for Kris. I know the other two wives spoke out and social media is pissed because Kris hasn't said anything, although said she wasn't asked to say anything, which I don't believe. If you don't have anything good to say then don't say anything at all. She released that statement about being blessed to have been married to him for 25 years and now she's fortunate enough to call him a hero. I don't believe that. She knew that he liked to dress that way. I know she's evil and she's viperous so don't get used to me being nice to her but today I'm happy for Bruce and I feel bad for Kris and I feel bad for the kids.

Last week Wendy stirred the pot before Bruce's interview by saying Bruce was a "fame whore" and calling him "Belinda."

I wouldn't watch because you know what, I feel duped by Bruce. When we first started watching that show with the whistles and they were all cute and then that woman would boss Bruce around and the girl would run roughshod over him and I -- I'm sure I'm not the only one -- I felt compassion for Bruce. He was supposed to be the rock of the family. I don't feel duped because he's turning into a woman, I feel duped because he's the same fame whore as the rest of the family.

And one more thing. You know I'm all for and very happy for anybody who lives in their own truth including Bruce transitioning, but he should have thought about that before having all the kids. You've got kids to explain to and you can't tell me that Kylie isn't the only one not going along with this. Belinda, shame on you!

Meanwhile, Steve Harvey told Hip Hollywood that although everyone is out here being politically correct, he just "can't wrap my mind around it at all."

“Everybody says it’s the bravest things they’ve seen, that’s the politically correct thing to say. I can’t wrap my mind around it at all, zero. I have no concept of what that means. Nothing negative, he has every right to live his life the way he wants to, but I can’t come in the house and make that announcement to my wife, to my children nothing.”

"[Diane] covered it all. My wife told me I couldn’t do the interview. She said, 'Your faces are too expressive.'”
