These 15 Essentials Are What Your Summer To Fall Wardrobe Needs While It's Still Hot AF Outside

It's starting to feel a lot like fall and this list is exactly what you needed.

Style

September 22 marked the official beginning of fall. This equinox surpasses the obsession of pumpkin spice lattes and chunky sweaters. The beauty of fall varies from the foliage to the fashion. And of course, my brain is set on the influx of fall fashion trends I can't wait to rock. Now, don't get me wrong, we will miss summer but fall has so much in store for us. Keeping this in mind, we recognize that this means we have to stock our closets with this upcoming season's staples.

We decided to take some prompts from one of our favorite fashion bloggers, Morgan Bethel of Hang It Up LA. Because of Morgan's love of fashion, she birthed her blog to provide an outlet to express and share her sense of style and creativity. Bethel says, "Naturally, I am bold and edgy…daring and risky with my fashion style, sometimes just over the top! I never stick to just one category of style. I love it all. Street, chic, classy, boho, couture, etc. I own my sense of style with whatever look I am going for and that's what makes me, me."

Check out some of our favorite looks of the bold and edgy fashion lover donning some fall pieces you most definitely need in your life.

Leopard Print Jacket

Leopard print is the "it" print for autumn. You can easily find the print in varying styles from coats to skirts to shoes.

Wakanda Forever Shows That Black People Can’t Win In The MCU

*Warning: this piece contains spoilers for Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever*

Wakanda Foreveris in a no-win situation.

The sequel to the Marvel Cinematic Universe juggernaut Black Panther has the monumental task of honoring its fallen king, Chadwick Boseman, and the character he played, T’Challa, all while continuing on the Black Panther mantel, introducing new characters Riri “IronHeart” Williams (who will have her own Disney+ series) and the antihero Namor and his underwater kingdom Talokan.

It’s impossible to do all of these things well in just one movie, though co-writer and director Ryan Coogler’s effort is valiant. The love for Boseman is palpable, and Wakanda Forever gives us the opportunity to mourn him together, just as we celebrated him in community during Black Panther’s 2018 run.

Though I left the theater in tears after both Black Panther and Wakanda Forever, back in 2018 I wasn’t immediately sure why. This time around, it’s much more clear what hurts: Black people can’t win in the MCU.

What To Do If You & Your Partner Have Different Sexual Appetites

What would you do if you had a higher sex drive than your partner? Leave, cheat, suck it up or try to work it out? I received an email from a woman with this very dilemma. She wanted to know how to move forward with what she described as a “sexless marriage.” She and her husband of eight years were not sexually compatible, to say the least, she had a very high sex drive and wanted sex as often as possible while he, on the other hand, was satisfied with sex once or twice a month. In his defense, she stated that this is how he’s always been. She has always been the one who wanted sex more frequently in their relationship.
