When you're a bad gal, and you know it!
The print ads were already a million fire emojis, but Rihanna earned her "Slayanna" nickname today with the release of her highly anticipated Dior "Sexy Garden IV" ad. The fashion icon came through and completely met and exceeded all expectations.
Beautifully shot by Steven Klein, "Secret Garden IV" shows the fashion icon at her absolute best as she sashays through Palace of Versailles' Hall of Mirrors in a sequin Dior gown, while giving much attitude and bad bitchie fever.
The one-minute ad isn't just all epic struts and diva poses though. There are also close-ups of Rih so we can properly catch her fierceness and beat face as she models Dior veils and handbags.
Back in March, Rih beamed about being the first black woman to front the French brand in its 70-year history:
It feels fantastic. it's such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any color. I think to be acknowledged by Dior is just--it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, to feel elegant and to feel timeless.
The ad is also a special treat because we also get to hear a snippet of her new song, "Only For The Night," produced by Midas.
