We all know Luke James can saaaaang, and his newest cover is music to the ears.

The R&B crooner recently took a break from putting the finishing touches on his highly anticipated self-titled debut album to put a spin on Sam Smith's "Stay With Me." For the most part, he kept the original melody of the popular soulful tune intact, while adding a little extra flavor.

Guess it's true, I'm not good at a one-night stand

But I still need love 'cause I'm just a man

These nights never seem to go to plan

I don't want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

Oh, won't you stay with me?

'Cause you're all I need

This ain't love, it's clear to see

But darling, stay with me

Luke's Luke James LP is scheduled to be released next month, September 23, 2014.
