It's time to pull up at the bar for another episode of xoNecole's Happy Hour podcast!

Ayeee it's lit! This week, we are celebrating our one-month anniversary of launching xoNecole's new podcast. We are extremely grateful for all the love you guys have shown us, the positive ratings and reviews and helping us peak at #6 on Apple Podcasts (All Time Best Sellers) Relationship charts.

To celebrate, we decided to take Happy Hour out of the office and on-location at our favorite bars around Altanta while inviting some special guests.

During episode 6, the xoSquad Necole, Amer and Sheriden kicked it at Parlor in Atlanta with actor Kendrick Cross who plays Titus Hughes on OWN's new drama series Ambitions.

Over some delicious signature cocktails and a few giggles, the actor revealed how he turned poetry into an acting career, why vegans taste better, and answers a round of first date questions.

A couple of years ago, I wrote an article for the site entitled, "Why You Should Stop Faking Orgasms ASAP". I'm pretty sure that you can tell from the title that I'm not particularly a fan of faking it. In fact, back in my "getting it in" days, I would have no problem letting a guy know that if he needed more motivation (cue Kelly Rowland) to get me to where I wanted to go. I was down for that more than acting like he was doing what needed to be done. Still, between all of the counseling that I do, the conversations that I've had and the research that I've done, I am more than just a little bit aware that a whopping 80 percent of women have faked orgasms and 1 out of 4 guys do it too (just because a man ejaculates, that doesn't mean he climaxed; that's another topic for another time, though).

Recently, while having a conversation with a friend who is currently going through the PTSD of a divorce, one of the things that they kept saying over and over is, "I'm just so disappointed in myself." If you've read my content, even a little bit, then you know that I am pretty word-specific and so I gave that statement — one that is pretty common when you really stop to think about it — quite a bit of thought. Although I think a lot of people feel that being disappointed in themselves (or someone else) means that they feel bad about something that they said or done, the word actually means "to fail to fulfill the expectations or wishes of" and "to defeat the fulfillment of (hopes, plans, etc.); thwart; frustrate."

Let me just say, before we deep dive into this particular topic, that I'm pretty sure that it's not going to go into the direction that a lot of you think that it's going to. In fact, the inspiration for this piece came from a series of conversations that I've had with a male friend of mine who is in one of the dumbest (meaning it's counterproductive, so not what he truly wants or needs and is proving to be a total waste of time, even as we speak) relationships ever. So, why is he in it? I would say about 70 percent of the reason is because he and his girlfriend have, what he calls, some really amazing sex. What brought me to this conclusion? It's because when he's complaining and I ask him why he stays, something about the sex almost always comes up. I mean, always.

Michael B. Jordan is in love y’all and is telling everyone about it. The Creed actor and Lori Harvey sent the internet into a frenzy when rumors first swirled of the couple dating in late 2020 after they were spotted leaving a flight together. And in January 2021, the two confirmed their relationship with the public. Now, after celebrating their one-year anniversary, the once Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor is professing his love for the model.
