The Meaning Behind John Legend And Chrissy Teigen's New Matching Tattoos

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a tattoo is worth a million. I am extremely uneasy in the presence of needles and more importantly, a commitment-phobe, so I'm tattoo-free and plan to stay that way, but still, a girl can dream can't she? Trends in body art are ever-changing, and the ability to find a design that's timeless and also fits your personality can be difficult, but it can be helpful to look to a few of your favorite celebs for tatt inspo. Two of the most recent celebs to get new ink are Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who just got their first tattoos as a tribute to their family and couldn't be more geeked about it.

John's tattoo reads: "John, Luna, Miles," and Chrissy's says "Chrissy, Luna, Miles". Chrissy also got a small heart tattoo on her fingertip, just because she's G like that. She joked on Instagram:

"Hey guys please don't talk to us unless u have tattoos we are a cool tattoo family now and we only want to talk to other tattoo families (srry if this seems harsh) Thank you thank you @winterstone. You are not only incredibly talented but you are very kind and delightful and welcome over any time!!"

Critics of body art often don't understand that tattoos are a form of expression that can symbolize a lifelong bond and visually represent your personal identity. If you or someone you know is addicted to ink, it can likely be because of the therapeutic effects associated with getting a tattoo.

The sensation of the needle causes your body to release endorphins, which are your body's natural pain relievers, and can trigger a number of emotions. If you're thinking of getting a tatt but need some design inspiration, paying homage to the ones you love most is a great place to start.

Why-do-you-want-to-be-a-wife

Even though it’s my life, sometimes I look at it and totally trip out over certain things.

For instance, even though I am aware that both Hebrew and African cultures put a lot of stock in the name of a child (because they believe it speaks to their purpose; so do I) and I know that my name is pretty much Hebrew for divine covenant, it’s still wild that in a couple of years, I will have been working with married couples for a whopping two decades — and boy, is it an honor when they will say something like, “Shellie, we’ve seen [professionally] multiple people and no one has been nearly as effective as you have been.”
