Everything You Need To Know About Uranus In Taurus

Uranus, the planet that many astrologers refer to as "The Great Awakener", recently settled into pleasure-seeking Taurus where it will remain until 2026. Over the next several years, this erratic planet will push us out of our comfort zone in nothing less than its disruptive fashion. As much as we'd prefer for change to be smooth and easy, Uranus has other ideas in mind that often result in shake-ups within our foundation that ultimately give way for something new to be defined.

During the past seven years, the planet of chaos has spent its time in the bold, trailblazing sign that is Aries which likely resulted in some upheaval as it pertains to your personal identity and autonomy. As the first sign of the zodiac, Aries is all about the self. While Uranus was transiting through this fiery sign, there were likely some defining moments in which you were challenged to define yourself apart from the group, whether that be your family, friends, or any organization you were apart of (this includes the workplace and educational environments).

Any abrupt changes that you experienced during the transit were meant to develop your creative problem-solving skills while teaching you to be more adaptable to life and the curve balls it throws at us sometimes. While the cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn) took the hardest hits over the last several years, they also experienced some of the most transformational growth as well. You can check out which planets you have in any of those signs to pinpoint which area of your life Uranus wreaked havoc in.

Up until 2026, this eccentric planet will begrudgingly move through Taurus, a very stable sign completely juxtaposing Uranus' energy, paving the way for new foundations related to the way that we earn money, what we value, and how we utilize our resources. As destabilizing as this transit can be, we are ultimately being gifted the opportunity to strip away our attachment to the status quo to embody a more liberated, authentic expression of self.

Scorpio & Scorpio Rising

Over the next several years, you'll be experiencing some pivotal moments in your relationships. As your values undergo major changes throughout this transit, you can expect for your relationships to follow suit. Uranus in Taurus invites you to discover what matters to you most in terms of commitment, and not just when it comes to marriage. This energy also highlights your business alliances as well, including your employer. You may find yourself changing jobs quite a few times during this transit. When it comes to romance, you may choose a more unconventional approach to commitment which could also ensure you falling for a different type than usual.

Be open to trying something new as Uranus has no qualms when it comes to shaking up your foundations and what you've always known.

It's important that you define what partnership means to you instead of feeling pressured to do things in a socially acceptable way. Prioritize your happiness and learn to create boundaries for yourself that will ultimately yield the ideal connections that can help you establish yourself financially.

6 Things About The Whole 'Body Count' Debate That Should Be Discussed

Gender wars. We’ve all seen them, and I’m willing to bet my next writer’s paycheck that if there’s one topic you notice, basically every time you scroll on social media, it’s body counts. Lawd, I don’t care what platform I tiptoe on to see what folks are talking about; one way or another, body counts are going to enter into the chat — and, more times than not, at least half of the people in the discussion (which is usually more like a debate) are triggered. Triggered AF.

Do I find myself ending up in that emotional kind of space? Nah. I’m the kind of person who is in the lane of, “If you did it, why should you be uncomfortable talking about it?” In fact, I actually wrote an article for the site that reveals my personal “count”; it’s entitled “14 Lessons I've Learned From 14 Sex Partners.” Personally, I’m not ashamed of or uncomfortable with my past. I’m also not the most private person in the world either (clearly) — what’s done is done. But hey, that’s just me.
