While most folks are trying to redeem their miles to cop a flight to Vegas or Miami for Memorial Weekend, it seems all the cool kids are over in Cannes, France. International fly!
Earlier today, everyone from Zoe Kravitz, Asap Rocky, Chanel Iman, Chris Brown, Quincy, and everyone's favorite 40 year old teenager, Pharrell Williams, all headed over to France for the 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival for the screening and press day for Dope. While exes Chanel and A$AP were spotted on opposite ends of one another in most pics, (guess they're still adjusting to the split) the crew, along with co-stars Shamiek Moore, Kiersey Clemons, Tony Revolori, etc. all cozied up and rolled deep as if headed to a Hollywood Homecoming fit for the young and the elite!
Executive produced by Pharrell, Diddy, Nina Yang Bongiovi and Forest Whitaker, "Dope," which stars everyone mentioned (minus Chris) is a dark-comedy drama described as the following:
High-school senior Malcolm (Shameik Moore) and his friends Jib (Tony Revolori) and Diggy (Kiersey Clemons) bond over '90s hip-hop culture, their studies and playing music in their own punk band. A chance encounter with a drug dealer named Dom lands Malcolm and company at the dealer's nightclub birthday party; when the scene turns violent, they flee -- with the Ecstasy that Dom secretly hid in Malcolm's backpack. A wild adventure ensues as the youths try to evade armed thugs who want the stash.
Interesting! Other major stars in the movie include Forest Whitaker, Rick Foxx, Kimberly Elise and Blake Anderson (we guess the grown folks either sat this one out or held their own press day).
