"If you can’t accept me at my 'bonnet,' then you don’t deserve me when I’m serving!"
According to Real Housewives of Atlanta star Todd Tucker, not even the thirstiest dude is trying to touch a woman with a bonnet on. But is he right?
For those who missed it, on a recent episode of RHOA, Kandi and Todd Tucker sought the help of a marriage counselor after Kandi argued that their sex life had fizzled down to a measly once a week. When the newlyweds of of one year opened up about their dying love life, Todd quickly placed the blame on Kandi's scarf game!
“Let’s be real. I’m not Tyson Beckford and you’re not Rihanna. When’s the last time you didn’t have the bonnet on and you put some heels on? Man, have you seen a lady at night with a bonnet on? The most thirstiest dude wouldn’t get it up!”
"You're not Rihanna" though?! Well dang. We're all for honesty but even Rih has rocked a doobie on the red carpet, so we could imagine her when she goes to bed. After all, edges don't lay themselves, boo!
This week, we asked Bitchie Readers for their thoughts on Todd's comments and of course some ladies weren't here for it at all:
And with the exception of one guy who was confused:
We actually had a lot of guys support and defend the #BonnetGang
One guy even tagged his girlfriend in and said "she was good":
And although we also had a few "nays" from our ladies, a good majority of women were all for #TeamCompromise, admitting that they didn't mind saving their hair wraps for after their dude has gone to bed:
