11 Statement-Making Winter Coats That Radiate Boss Energy

Coats are a staple for autumn/winter and an effortless way to polish off any look. Bold coats are on trend for this season and our favorite style stars are executing it flawlessly. From long hemlines to bomber jackets to classic trench coats, we're seeing bold prints and colors modernize some of fashion's classic coat styles.

Check out the bold styles that are snatching our edges this season:

1.Baby Blue Midi Trench

If you're hesitant to try colorful coat, pair it with neutrals like Alyssa. This helps to tone down the boldness of the coat but keeps your overall look very clean and chic.

2.Statement Large Lapel Midi Coat

This is another great example of how to transition a bright color into fall. Alanna keeps the look fresh by pairing the coat with lighter neutrals.

3.Baby Blue Bomber

There are a million ways to wear a bomber jacket but Nelly truly pulled this powder blue one off. A playful piece like this can add fun and a sense of casualness to your look.

4.Trench Patent Leather Trench

A classic example of playing with color but not going overboard. Kellie pairs her trench with an outfit in the same color wheel. This elongates the body and adds depth to the look.

5.Animal Print Trench

This combines the best of two fall trends: trench and animal prints. The shorter skirt paired with the long lines of the trench create a playful yet professional street style look. It's also a great way to transition those summer pieces!

6.Green Trench

If you're more of a risk taker, take a cue from June when styling a bold coat. Inside of neutrals underneath, opt for complementary colors to brighten up the look.

7.Camel Cape

This is a bold look and the ultimate stylish piece. There's something magical about capes, especially into the holiday season.

8.Plush Teddy Coat

With a coat like this, you can really mix up your style. Teddy coats can be super casual or ultra-luxurious, depending on your occasion. Maxi coats are on trend this fall/winter.

9.Red Patent Leather Trench

Pair down with jeans and a simple tee like Bengine, or dress up with a LBD. You want the coat to be the statement, so neutrals are your best bet.

10. Neon Green Coat

Go big or go home, right? It's the perfect blend of trend and nostalgia, especially with the hair. Grace pairs this bright jacket with all black, but adds some texture with her slouchy calf boots.

11. Trench as a Dress

The uniformity of the look is achieved by using the same print in different colors. Kelly also plays with the height of the boot and the slit of the trench, adding a bit of edge to the look. By choosing one print in various colors, you can transition this look from work to drinks at cocktail hour to date night.
