Maintaining your wardrobe should be at the top of your to-do list.

As I get older, I am learning the importance of sustaining the clothes I have now. Not only for my wallet but for Mother Earth. I will admit that I am the queen of buying new clothes for every event or vacation. I am also the queen of remixing pieces so I can style them for any occasion. After doing some research, I found that I can do even more work to make give my staples a longer lifespan.

Check out a few hacks and tips that will keep you favorite pieces looking like new!

Don't Launder As Much

The washer and dryer can be hard on your clothes. We have been trained to wash clothes after one wear but it's the best way to break the fibers down of our clothes. Try hand-washing your items or investing in lingerie/delicate bags. Lingerie bags are clutch because they are made from stretch and tear resistant material. It's ideal for protecting your expensive fabrics.
